Today has been a really, really awful day. I know it has.

I need you to promise me something, though, all right?

I need you to stay here, and keep safe, at least for tonight. Because there's a lot up in the air, and let's just say that with one parent in the hospital and three looking to jump into the fray, I need to know down to the bottom of my feet that my kids are going to be looked after, no matter what happens. Otherwise, my head won't be in it. And knowing you're safe, that helps.
