I wasn't much of an artist at that age, either, and both my drawing and handwriting are rather good, at least when it's not right before or after the full moon. So she's got a fighting chance at decent handwriting.

Brekkie in bed is on a long, long list of things I find it hard to imagine Mrs Black doing, actually, and some of them I'm quite sure she did do.
