alt_nymphadoraI should have written you earlier in the day, but I was just too discombobulated to think. Better now. Seeing people here enjoying the beer garden always reminds me what we're really working for and why it's worth it.
But listen. There's something you need to know about. I got called into my supervisor's supervisor's office and then sent down somewhere I've never been over in MLE's wing. Closed-door meeting with someone who called himself Vladick or Valdez or something--he was definitely not handing out his card. Short story: we're being asked to pay a bit of attention to what's in rubbish bins and under blotters and in cupboards and the like. He didn't say we're to look in anyone's files, but he made it sound as if we might pay attention to that, too. They're rooting out disloyalty and think the cleaners are likely to stumble across things now and then that might be of use. And there'll be a bit of a boost in the pay if we do. Or something. He was a bit vague, but they're offering incentives.
So be extra careful, will you?
And, Bill, tell your network to keep their noses clean (and their desks tidy).

I will see if I can find out anything further about this initiative. Last name begins with a 'V'? He was with MLE?

Yes, the bloke's name started with V. Vlatizc? Probably not that exactly. But something like. Don't know if he's MLE. The room was over there, though.
