I can't tell what, but Mary, who's the only one who's been here before, is usually easy to chat with and tonight she's brushed me off twice. And she was- well, not quite snappish, but firm about sending me packing just now when I went over to see if they'd like anything.

Come sniff them out, will you? I'm sure Bea will be fine.
